FIRST CLASS OF THE SEASON!
Pickling Class:
Pickling is a terrific way to preserve produce year-round. This class will prepare and can cucumbers and or summer squash.
We will talk about pickling in general terms and discuss some techniques for achieving consistently good results when making all different sorts of pickles.
You will gain hands on experience as you will help with the prep. work and the actual canning process.
Each person will take home a quart of delicious pickles when we are done!
Free refreshments will be available.
Class Cost: $25.00
Date: Wed. June 19th, 8 a.m. to finish (usually about 3 hours).
