Great Guest Workers Staying At The Farm

We have a really great group of guest workers currently helping us at the farm.
These fine folks have come to us through the help of the WWOOF (world wide opportunities on organic farms) program which links up folks who want to learn organic farming skills with host farms.
We were on a day off field trip recently and snapped this shot in front of a local area attraction.
From left to right are: Emma, Skyler, Gail and Stewart
We really appreciate all of you!

Educational Booth at Old Tucson Studio's

We had an educational booth set up at Old Tucson Studios in Tucson, AZ. on the 29th, 30th of Nov. and the 1st of Dec. 2013. as part of their Heritage and Cultural Festival.
We where highlighting Arizona's agricultural heritage and history as well as demonstrating corn shelling and grinding.
Pictured behind our booth is Joe Camarillo, group sales manager for Old Tucson.
Joe was a most gracious host, we really thank and appreciate you very much Joe!
We had a great time and are looking forward to teaming up with Old Tucson again in the near future.

Please help support this very worthy organization.

Return to Farm-to-Consumer Home Page
We are members of this organization because we believe in the right of small family farmers/ranchers to have a choice in what and how they grow/raise the food they sell and also in the right of consumers to be free to choose the foods of their choice without undue Government regulation.
Current and upcoming Gov. regulations are severely regulating what we can do on our farm and your choices of the foods you eat!
At this pace we may loose a lot more small farms/ranches without this type of advocacy.
This organization is standing up for the rights of farmers/ranchers and consumers alike.
Please consider becoming a member of this fine organization.

When is a "weed" a weed?

We have heard that our farm is "weedy".
The next person that comes along says our farm is beautiful!
A weed is only in the eye of the beholder and since we grow organically we have beautiful "weeds" (some of which have medicinal properties and are good to eat) growing along with our beautiful veggies!
Life always finds a way, we like it that way!
