At RichCrest Farms we take a much more intimate approach to helping folks acquire wholesome food. If you would like to experience a peaceful and beautiful farm without all the hassels of the "u-pick" scene then give us a call today to arrange a guided tour.

Dear Friends, Once upon a farm everyone farmed the natural way. We're here to do it that way today. We have a sentimental view of farming and preserving. Do it simply and naturally. Call us to arrange a trip out to our place where we have u-pick veggies, farm tours, hay rides and even a place to stay the night if you like. Turn right on Evelyn Lane to the fourth place on left side. Please leave your pets at home. Check back with us often to keep up with our activities and special events!

Amaranth Harvest Party

Our Amaranth harvest party on Aug. 2nd was a huge success. Not only did we get alot of wild Amaranth harvested but we also got all of our veggies harvested in record time. We had a nice family of five join us from the Tucson,AZ. area as well as a few local folks that live near our farm. We were also blessed by recieving help from a group of African refugees coordinated by Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting Network in Tucson,AZ. www.fruitmappers.org All together we had about 35 people helping out with 20 of those being the African group. After the work was done we all had a fantastic meal that was prepared by a professional chief (Kishor) that was part of the African group. Kishor and some helpers literally took over our kitchen and cooked up a storm preparing all sorts of delicious dishes. It was a real treat to have this great help in the kitchen for we generally do all the cooking for these events. Our sincere thanks go out to all who helped us with the harvest, it was a very special event. Please see pictures below.
